As I’ve spent the week in prayer and study I’ve felt a special sense of excitement rising for the weekend services. What started out as a “sermon” has become I believe, a prophetic message for us as a church family. I will be speaking on Israel’s experience in “crossing over” and what it means to us today. The “crossing of the waters” proved to be pivotal moments in Israel’s history. They represent those transitional moments we all experience in life on our journey towards becoming all that God intends for us to be. They are the moments when we break barriers and cross thresholds. And they lead us into new experiences, new opportunities, and new victories.This weekend I will also be sharing the strategy God has given me for expanding our campus over the next 30 days and we will begin a season of fasting and prayer.

We have been given an opportunity to expand both of our City of Grace campuses over the next few months. In Scottsdale, we are breaking ground to build the state of the art children’s ministry center that we have been dreaming about for the past two years. In Mesa, after years of waiting, we have been offered the opportunity to purchase the dentist’s office adjacent to our University Dr. entrance, thereby increasing our visibility to the community.

Neither of these opportunities has been presented to us in the best of times. The economy has weakened. Gas prices have soared. Property values have plummeted. And many people in our congregation are concerned about making it through the next season of their lives. But there is one thing I know to be true: Kingdom opportunities rarely come at convenient times. That’s why they require faith. We cannot let this moment pass us by. We must take these fast steps forward into the future. And I believe God will give us a miracle!

We are going to be talking about these extraordinary opportunities next weekend as we roll out the plan God has given us for increase. Plan to be there and prepare to be challenged to enter the future. Let’s rise up and believe God for the impossible!
